EXO ARNVIND is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for our customer - a global Fortune 500 medical device company, located in Copenhagen.
Our customer's Global IT (GIT), have a big pipeline of business-critical projects to be delivered to their internal customers in Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance, etc.
To strengthen their project execution, they have recently created a new IT Project Management Office (IT PMO) from where they will drive the project portfolio, and head the project execution on major cross-functional IT-projects and programs. Typically within the Microsoft domain of CRM, ERP, MS POWER, and the Sitecore CMS.
For this new function, they are looking for a skilled Senior IT Project Manager, with a high drive and passion to lead complex cross-functional projects.
As the function is newly established, you will be able to influence how they execute IT projects in general and drive best practices within GIT project & portfolio management. You will report to the Director, Global Customer Solutions & IT PMO, and will be asked to present your own, as well as other key IT Projects, directly to their vice presidents at the GIT portfolio meetings.
Our customer plans to extend the IT PMO group over the coming years, as more and more projects are cross-functional and serve multiple areas in their business.
To succeed in this role, your stakeholder management, and communication skills are equally important to your Project Manager skills, as well as the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, though ‘short and fat’ projects are preferred. It is also crucial that you are able to navigate in a medical device organization and deliver executive presentations.
If you have experience with delivering projects, using for example Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365 FO/AX, MS Power Platform, and SiteCore, you are already familiar with their core IT platforms.
Responsibilities summed up
- Deliver projects and programs within agreed scope, quality, time, and budget.
- Timely communication with key project participants, stakeholders, project steering groups, and colleagues in GIT.
- Help and assist business colleagues qualify their business case, analyze, define, and scope their projects.
- Assist in the GIT portfolio management execution, and deliver executive project presentations.
- Improve the project management framework and help implement standard work across GIT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or MBA related to Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Economics or equivalent and min. 5 years of international working experience with global it solutions and digital transformation projects.
- Strong experience with Projects and Programs within for example marketing, sales, service, finance and logistic process improvements, excellence programs, and/or corporate change management programs, from either international companies or leading consultancies.
- Strong program and project manager skills and toolbox within the different project methodologies. Experience with both agile and waterfall approaches preferred. Certified Project Manager – PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English is required
