Our customer is currently building a new video product program, and you will contribute to expand their mechanical competences and ensure their manufacturing knowledge and build services are utilized. Our customer's ambitious growth strategy gives you an exciting opportunity to put your fingerprint on their global expansion and work in a buzzling and diverse environment. They have part of their Video R&D activities in the Balkan region, so you will also bridge competences within the mechanical competence field. You can expect regular travelling of 4 weeks/year.

Our customer's Mechanical Engineering team is part of the Device Development team within the R&D organization, where they have gathered some of the most experienced engineers and audio enthusiasts.
You will be part of the mechanical team with strong focus on Front-end development of video programs together with selected partners. Naturally, you will interface to their in-house mechanical, electro-acoustic and hardware engineers, who are all part of the Device Development team.
You will be part of a creative and dedicated Mechanical Engineering team of 14+ people that will support you in specific design activities, reviews and in defining NPI requirements.
The new Lead Mechanical Engineer within Video programs
Within the mechanical team your focus areas will be mechanical frontend activities, concept development integrating ME, AE and HW into video products. Creating robust design concepts, teamwork with many competence areas, planning activities, and meetings with partners will be part of your activities.
To succeed in this role, you need to be creative, pro-active, have a can-do attitude and find it easy to cope with changes. As Lead Mechanical Engineer you are good at managing a variety of assignments in a persistent and structured way within the agreed time schedule.
The ideal candidate holds the following qualifications:
- Senior Mechanical engineer with 5+ years of experience.
- Experienced CAD user
- Experience from working, and coordinating with external partners abroad
