Our customer believes that digital technologies, and the pace of their adoption, are key driving forces in changing the ways businesses work. They need you to build their new Microsoft CRM cloud solution – and lead their developers working with the Azure platform.

Your role as Competence lead

As a Competence / Chapter Lead, your main objective is to ensure consistency and work standards, capability building, line management, and vision setting for developers within the Azure platform. This also means that you are a specialist and passionate about Azure and the Power Platform yourself.

You will become part of the IT Division and be a Competence/Chapter Lead (line manager) for 6-8 skilled Azure developers.

It is important to notice that the role as a Chapter Lead is also what they call a “playing coach”, and your time will be spent on three core areas:

  • You will develop the craft
  • You will line manage the Azure developers within the craft., e.g. leading, recruiting, developing, and evaluating people
  • You will be a developer in your own agile team

The team

You will be a part of a newly formed Agile team within their Customer Engagement organization. The team will be given great autonomy to pursue the goals of our CRM solution in close collaboration with the business adoption team and stakeholders.

Your work as competence/chapter lead

  • Ensure consistency in ways of working and standards within the Azure and Power Platform domain
  • Lead professional expertise through standard-setting and sparring on new ways of working
  • Be line manager for professionals within their trade and chapter across business tribes
  • Ensure rewarding career tracks and best in class training
  • Develop and lead the vision for what a professional is within their craft

Your work as part of the CRM team is to

  • develop integrations through system API’s and events
  • define and propose alternative solutions to a given integration task by considering different ways of implementation
  • understand and realize event-driven integration design principles
  • have a ‘Standard-first’ mindset and seek the opportunities for leveraging standard configuration and tools before writing custom code.


  • You have 3+ years of development experience with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 For Sales platform / Azure
  • Experience from similar CRM implementation projects responsible for system development and integration development
  • Ability to execute against technical design documents and propose technical solutions based on business requirements
  • You know the standard configuration tools of Microsoft Dynamics 365 For Sales and are able to configure entities, fields, forms, views, business rules, workflows, etc.
  • You are able to work with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 For Sales API and have development experience with the SDK and writing plugins
  • You have experience with Microsoft Power Automate and are capable of building Flows that interact with data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 For Sales and API’s in other applications
  • You have experience with solution management and deployment in Microsoft Dynamics 365 For Sales
  • Experience with people management or experience with informal leadership which you want to take to the next level.
